The ConneXion at Roseland is more than a building with rooms to use. It is a community created for people who want to connect, share what they know, discover new interests, and help others grow.
Membership is not simply about gaining access to a space. It is an invitation to become an active part of something larger. Members are encouraged to participate, collaborate, teach, learn, mentor, create, and contribute to the life of the community.
We believe that every person brings something valuable to the table. One person may have years of professional experience to share. Another may bring creativity, energy, or a new way of thinking. A younger member may understand emerging technology, while an older member may offer wisdom gained through decades of experience.
The ConneXion brings these people together so that knowledge, support, and opportunity can flow throughout the community.

The purpose of The ConneXion is to provide more than physical space. We are building a place where people can form meaningful relationships, discover their abilities, share their gifts, and find encouragement from others.
We want The ConneXion to become a trusted home for creativity, education, recreation, wellness, mentorship, and community life in Roseland.
Whether someone comes to teach, learn, create, volunteer, receive support, or simply meet new people, we want them to leave feeling more connected than when they arrived.

The Village Model is our belief that everyone has something to teach and something to learn.
We create opportunities for children, young adults, parents, professionals, and older adults to share their skills and experiences with one another. Instead of separating people by age, we encourage different generations to connect and learn together.
Yes. We are actively looking for teachers, artists, tradespeople, technology professionals, mentors, wellness instructors, and other community members who want to share their knowledge.
You do not need to be part of a large organization. Individuals with a useful skill, thoughtful idea, or passion for helping others are encouraged to speak with us about creating a program.
Yes. Members and program participants pay a fee based on how they use the building.
Because The ConneXion is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, these fees are used to help cover operating expenses such as utilities, internet, cleaning, snow removal, maintenance, and building security.
Each participant receives a fee schedule based on their intended use of the facility.
Yes. A security deposit equal to one month’s participation fee may be required.
The deposit is refundable when a member leaves the program in good standing, provided that all payments have been made and there is no damage, missing property, or other unresolved responsibility.
Certain rooms may include audio, video, broadcasting, sound, or technical equipment.
Some equipment may only be used after an orientation or under the supervision of a designated Steward. Members are expected to handle all equipment carefully and may be responsible for damage caused by misuse.
We understand that disagreements may happen in any active community.
Members are expected to address concerns respectfully and work toward a restorative solution. Our goal is not simply to assign blame, but to understand what happened, repair harm when possible, and protect the culture of belonging.
Serious or repeated violations may be reviewed by leadership and could result in the loss of membership or building access.
We respect the time, ideas, and creative labor of every participant.
Collaborative work should only be shared, published, recorded, or reused with the consent of the people involved. Contributors should receive proper credit, and another person’s writing, music, artwork, recordings, or ideas may not be used without permission.
Yes. The ConneXion is designed to support learning and connection across generations.
Programs involving children may require registration, parental permission, emergency contact information, approved supervision, background checks, or other safety procedures. Children must remain in the areas assigned to their program and follow all facility rules.
The ConneXion maintains general liability insurance for the facility and its core operations.
However, members may still be responsible for maintaining their own health, professional, business, or property insurance. Certain instructors, organizations, or higher-risk programs may be required to provide proof of insurance before using the facility.
